“You know the saying, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life,” well I’ve found that here at SRM! Since I started in 2020, I have loved coming to work everyday, seeing my coworkers who have become like family, and seeing the life-changing transformation in the lives of the men who come to our New Life Program. I praise God for SRM!”
“In the last few years, working at SRM has been a great joy! I have the privilege of working with each resident to support them on their road to recovery. The road is different for each man. Seeing God work in their lives to bring healing and give them hope is amazing.”
“It has been a blessing to serve the mission in the Learning Center for the past 25 years. I believe that education is an important part of our program. It allows the men to improve their academic abilities, to obtain a HISET diploma, gain more skills in digital literacy and financial literacy, to obtain a certificate in an area of interest, or enroll in a college program. All this helps the men to be prepared to find employment.”
“I’ve grown so much in my spiritual life since I started working at the Springfield Rescue Mission. I love being able to work in a place where I’m encouraged to share my faith with others. SRM truly does feel like a second family to me!”
