About Springfield Rescue Mission
Mission Statement and Donors’ Bill of Rights
The goal of the Springfield Rescue Mission since 1892 is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted and poor by introducing them to Christ and helping them apply the Word of God to every area of their lives.
How We Help
Through your support, our many programs work to meet the most critical needs of our vulnerable neighbors, including: safe shelter, hot meals, clean clothing and a second chance to hundreds every year!
The Rescue Mission’s history of faithful service has been going strong all because of the support of this community.
Checkout the latest edition of EXPECTATIONS, the Rescue Mission’s newsletter! You’ll read and see all about the life-changing impact you’re having on those most in need in your community, and also find important details for ways to get involved.
- The Springfield Rescue Mission is committed to being good stewards of what we have been blessed to receive. We value every penny given to us and use every resource to provide food, shelter, clothing and emergency services to men, women and children.
Every year, there are as many as 1,400 individuals that experience homelessness in Springfield. And the number of homeless families has been rising in Western Massachusetts.
