Men’s New Life Chaplain
Full or Part time
The individual who fills this position should have a love for Christ and a desire to help bring forth Hope and Healing to the residents at Springfield Rescue Mission.
  1. In the role of Chaplain, he will have the responsibility for bridging the gap between spiritual concepts, biblical principles and all other areas of necessary life skills training in order to facilitate a balanced approach to stewardship.
  2. He will be expected to counsel and encourage the individuals in the rehabilitation program in all areas of The Wellness Track to bring about lasting change.
  3. He must have the ability to work in harmony with other staff members as a team player.

Director of Food Service
Full time
This individual should be excited about the preparation and cooking of meals for the population we serve. Our homeless neighbors, through Public Breakfast, Public Lunch and Holiday meals as well as our residents and staff.
This person must have leadership capabilities and be willing to train kitchen staff and volunteers in the art of healthy and nutritious cuisine.
Springfield Rescue Mission is expanding and serving more than ever. This position requires a willing and positive attitude, a deep love for Christ and a love for all people.
Just as we are asked to be cheerful givers, we need to be cheerful server as well.

Evening Resident Care Officer
Part time
The position of Evening Resident Care Officer is a role that is vitally important to our residents in the rehabilitation program at Mill Street, Springfield.
You would be working with the men from 4pm – 10 pm, Monday through Friday, and have many opportunities to converse, listen to and pray with individuals in our Men New Life Rehabilitation Program.
This is a role of encouragement as well as afterhours oversight.
Evening Care requires an ability support staff while being appropriately responsive to the individual needs of the residents during the off hours.
