FINDING PURPOSE
Brandon’s Story

Before arriving at the Springfield Rescue Mission, Brandon felt trapped in an endless routine.

“Life was going to work, clocking in, clocking out, going home, and then going to bed—rinse and repeat, with no real sense of purpose,” he shared.

After only three months at the Mission, Brandon says his perspective has done a complete 180. Through biblical teaching, compassionate guidance, and practical support, he has strengthened his relationship with God, rebuilt his self-esteem, and discovered a renewed sense of purpose.

Now, Brandon is preparing to attend school to become an EMT. He is working with our Workforce Development Coordinator to strengthen his résumé and career skills. His long-term dream is to work full-time, purchase a home, and have his two children live with him.

“I’m not just working and sleeping anymore,” Brandon said. “I actually feel like there is a purpose to life now.”

Brandon’s journey is just one of many…but it’s only possible because of supporters like you.
