Our volunteers minister to thousands every year.

As a volunteer, you help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted and poor for all races, creeds, genders and nationalities.  Unable to Volunteer, read below on other ways to be involved.


To host collections and drives to support our program and services, please see below the opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved.

Deliver all items to Springfield Rescue Mission, 10 Mill Street, Springfield, Monday - Sunday, 8AM-8PM.

30 Hr fast St Lukes Greek Orthodox church


Collect perishable and non-perishable food items including fresh produce, milk, cheese butter, eggs and more. These items sustain all SRM in-house programs and services to the public.

Donate new or gently used clothing, shoes and coats for men, women and children. Winter items such as coats, hats, gloves and thermals are needed. NEW underwear, t-shirts and socks for men, women and children needed throughout the year!

Hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving cream, disposable razors, and more are basic needs. Regular and travel sizes welcome.  Hope Tote Basic Needs List

Essential household items such as eating and cooking utensils, bowls/dishes, glassware, pots & pans, bake ware, mixers, microwave, toaster ovens, coffee makers, blenders, etc. are acceptable donations for our Give Away Center.

Donate new or gently used bed sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow cases, towels and face cloths. All size sheets and blankets are needed.
